Jesus said: "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me . . . I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me"

The scriptures are full of reasons to do what we are doing. The key to our ministry is to be a servant. True servanthood is displayed by serving the least of these. In our case it is the poor people in the Dominican Republic. There are poor people around us throughout the world. Some groups have been called to handle the need locally. Others nationally. And others yet internationally. Our calling is to the people of the Dominican Republic.

Solid Rock Missions is you, me and others. We are a group of people and organizations that have joined together to try to meet the needs of these people. It is working. God is honoring these efforts. We are meeting needs socially, physically, and educationally. Our ultimate goal is to meet their spiritual needs by sharing the love of Jesus Christ.

God is at work as you will see in our story. The future remains to be written. Hopefully you will catch the visions as others have in the past. The harvest fields are white. The workers are few. We need partners to help with the harvest.
